Cheryl Ann Morris

Mrs Cheryl Ann Morris,59 of Augusta passed away Friday October 11,2019 at Select Specialty hospital. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 15th from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Poteet Funeral Home,3465 Peach Orchard Rd. The Funeral Service will be conducted on Wednesday, October,16th 2019 at 12 Noon in the Chapel of Poteet Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Cheryl was a homemaker and loved to cook and watch football and Nascar. She was a loving wife,mama,daughter,grandma,sister and friend. She lit up every room she walked in and loved her family. Survivors include her husband Martin Morris Sr, her daughter Amber Velazquez(Elmer), her father Richard Mitchell, her sister Debra Jones(Tom), her grandsons, Blayne Gates, Mason Gates, Bentley Gates, Dawson Morris, and Benton Morris and long life best friend Donna Wood, and stepsons Martin Morris Jr(Kristi) and Chris Morris Cheryl is proceeded in death by her son Dolin Lariscy and her mother Frances "Framp" Bragg. Pallbearers will be Wayne(buck)Wallace, Renee Moxley, Martin Morris Jr, Charles Frady, Jr, Van Williams and Johnny Williams
