Yibing Peng

Yibing Peng, 60, wife of Dr. Yukai He, passed away peacefully holding on to each other’s hand on Nov 30, 2023 after a courageous 23-year battle with breast cancer. Yibing was born Sept 18, 1963 in Guangdong, China to the late Xiansong Peng and Qin Zhong. She grew up on the campus of Southern Medical University and graduated with a bachelor degree in Bioengineering in 1993. Yibing came to the USA on Dec 1st of 1994 and became a Christian in 1996. Yibing loved her Lord and Savior. As a tireless and selfless bioengineer, she spent over 16 years in the Georgia Cancer Center of Augusta University, conducting medical research. She was active in Chinese community, serving the Pittsburgh and Augusta Chinese Schools between 2002 and 2013. Through the years, Yibing made many friends in China, Germany, and USA. Family always come first for her. Yibing was close to both her parents and her daughters. She loved preparing family meals. Yibing was a filial daughter, wonderful and supportive wife, and dedicated mother. Yibing loved dancing and gardening. She inspired her daughters to dance and she grew a yard full of beautiful flowers Although Yibing’s life was cut short, she lived and enjoyed life to the fullest. Unfazed by cancer, Yibing enjoyed traveling together with family through Americas, Europe, and China. She witnessed her two daughters grow from kindergarten to earning doctoral degrees in Physical Therapy and Medicine. This year, she joyfully saw her eldest daughter get married. She will be forever missed by family and friends. Yibing is survived by her husband Yukai, daughters Grace, Jessica and son in law Sam, as well as her younger sister Yiping in China. A memorial service to celebrate Yibing's inspiring life will be held on Dec 9, 2023, at 1:30 PM at Augusta Chinese Church at 1405 Marks Church Rd, Augusta, GA 30909. “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day”. Yibing, this is a true portrayal of your life. You have gone through life's battles, completed your own race, and upheld the path you believe in. In that beautiful crown, you will receive spiritual rest and rewards. You are now dwelling in Heaven, a more beautiful and eternal home. The family kindly requests that donations from friends and coworkers be made directly to Augusta Chinese Church (https://accfaugustaga.org/) in memory of Yibing Peng. 彭一兵 (Yibing Peng)，60岁，于2023年11月30日上午8:15离世。在与乳腺癌搏斗了23年的最后时刻，她的丈夫何玉凯坐在身旁，握着她的手，看着她平静的离开了这个让她眷恋的世界，安息主怀，进入那更美而且永恒的天国家乡。 一兵于1963年9月18日在中国广东惠州出生，父亲是已故的彭先松，母亲钟琴。她在广州南方医科大学校院内长大，1993年毕业获得生物工程学士学位。1994年来到美国，1996年3月3日受洗成为基督徒，自那时起一直享受主爱。 一兵热爱舞蹈，激发了她的两个女儿对舞蹈的喜爱。她还热爱园艺，使院子里充满了鲜花。她是一位无私的同事，在乔治亚癌症中心从事生物医学研究超过16年，总是乐于助人，不争名利。在中国、德国、匹兹堡和奥古斯塔结交了许多朋友。在肿瘤复发之前，她为匹兹堡和奥古斯塔的中文学校的发展壮大发挥了积极作用。 尽管生命过早的被乳腺癌夺走，一兵充分享受了生活。她与家人一起爬落基山，游欧洲，共进美食。在与乳腺癌搏斗的过程中，她伴随俩女儿从幼儿园直到获得物理治疗博士和医学博士，今年还高兴的参加了大女儿的婚礼。2019年母亲去世前，有机会与母亲共度美好时光。家庭对她来说永远是第一位的。她一直是一个孝顺的女儿、出色的妻子和敬业的母亲。她将永远被家人和朋友怀念。 一兵的父亲彭先松和母亲钟琴已故。丈夫何玉凯 (Yukai He), 女儿Grace、Jessica，女婿Sam, 还有在中国的妹妹一平都健在。 我们将于2023年12月9日下午2点在奥古斯塔华人教堂 (1405 Marks Church Rd, Augusta, GA 30909)举行追思纪念和庆祝一兵姐妹鼓舞人心的一生。 “那美好的仗我已经打过了，当跑的路我已经跑尽了，所信的道我已经守住了。从此以后，有公义的冠冕为我存留”。这是你生命中信仰的写照，你已经度过了人生的战役，完成了自己的奔跑，守住了所信仰的道。在那美好的冠冕中，你将得到属灵的安息和奖赏。你将居住在天堂，那更美而且永恒的家乡！ 若有心愿，家人请求捐款直接捐给奥古斯塔华人教会（https://accfaugustaga.org/）,注明纪念彭一兵姐妹。
