Mrs. Wilma Lucile Murphey Mrs. Wilma Lucile Murphey of Grovetown died at Golden Living Center on January 2, 2009. She was 90 years old. The family will receive friends Sunday, January 4, 2009 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Apostolic Cathedral of Praise, 3678 Old Petersburg Road, Martinez, Ga. The funeral Service will be conducted Monday, January 5, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Apostolic Cathedral of Praise. Pastor Marcus Holt, Philip & Stephen Burdette will officiate. The committal will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Wilma Lucile Murphey is survived by her daughter, Marion Burdette and her husband Willie of Grovetown; brother, Jack Dixon of Martinez; sisters, Mattie Athearn of Evans and Virginia Woodward of Evans; grandchildren, Philip, Stephen and Beth; great grandchildren, Karoline, McKinsy, Gentry, Vivian, Stephen, Abby and Landon. Mrs. Murphey is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Walter Murphey; and brother, Glinn Dixon.
