Biography Mr. Willie "Bill" Jones Retired Civil Service Martinez, Ga. On 1 November 2012, Heavens gates opened to welcome Bill Home.He is survived by his wife Shirley of 50 years, two daughters, Patty Jones, Weddington, NC; Sherry L. Campbell (Steve) Inman, SC., Brother, Gil Jones, Arlington, TX., sister, Judy Burman(Rev. Fred) Augusta, GA, four grandchildren and three great grandchildrentwo aunts, Joyce Corley and Thelma Clark, both of Edgefield, SC. He is preceded in death by his father, mother and sister. Born in Edgefield, SC, Bill spent most of his young life traveling with his military father.In 1993, Bill retired from the US Government after 30 years' service, and spent the last 8 years working overseas for AT&T.He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Bible Fellowship Church. Cancer may have overcome his body, but God has called his spirit home. Memorial services will be conducted at Bible Fellowship Church, 3701 Old Petersburg Road Martinez, Ga. 30907, Sunday, 4 November 2012 at 2:00 pm. Rev .Fred Burman officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested a memorial contribution to the Bible Fellowship Television Ministry.This is a program that was near and dear to Bill.
