Augusta, GA. Willie “Mr. Bill” Chastain, age 62, of Augusta, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2016 at University Hospital. He was born June 15, 1954 in Augusta to the late Willard and Faye Giles Chastain.Mr. Bill was a wheeler and dealer.Most people knew him from the Flea Markets and yard sales.If you had something to sell, he would buy it. He is survived by his wife, Diane Chastain; daughter, Tammy (Kenny) Boyd of Saluda, S.C.; 3 siblings, Arnold, Ronnie and Kathy, all of Augusta; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Tuesday 6 pm to 8 pm at THE POTEET FUNERAL HOME, 3465 Peach Orchard Rd., HWY 25, Augusta, 30906, 706.798.8886.
