Willie Clyde Burdette

Biography Mr. Willie Clyde Burdette Retired Contractor Grovetown, Ga. entered into rest July 8, 2013 at Doctors Hospital Augusta, Ga. Mr. Willie Clyde Burdette husband of Mrs. Marion M. Burdette. Mr. Burdette a native of Franklin County, Ga. has lived in the area for the past 44 years coming from Hartwell, Ga. He was a member of Apostolic Cathedral of Praise and retired construction owner. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2:00 pm at Apostolic Cathedral of Praise with Pastor Marcus Holt and the Rev. Mark Maddox officiating. Mr. Burdette's body will lie in state at the church 1 hour prior to service. Pallbearers will be: Richard Pacheco, Randy Woodward, Rodney Woodward, Ernie Timmerman, David Graham, Mauricio Martinez, John Coody and Ralph Folger. Honorary Pallbearers: Ricky Grahm, Bruce Gulley and Anthony Quinones. The family will receive friends at the church Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00 pm. Additional survivors include, two sons, Philip W. Burdette (Alicia), Stephen C. Burdette (Anne) Grovetown, Ga., daughter, Elizabeth Burdette Worthem, Murphysboro, IL. Two brothers, Douglas Burdette, Billy Burdette, Pendergrass, Ga. Sisters, Betty Lynch, Hartwell, Ga. Joyce Smith, Royston, Ga. Eight grandchildren.
