William P. Keener

Mr. William P. Keener Retired E.I. DuPont Augusta, Ga. entered into rest October 4, 2012 at his daughter's residence. Mr. Keener was a native of Augusta, Ga. and a husband of 63 years to Carolyn Annette Keener. In the past he was a member of the Knights of Columbus, and since 1991 he attended the Men's Breakfast Prayer Group at Reid's Memorial Church. He served in the U.S. Army and retired as a Major in the Army Reserves. A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday October 13, 2012 at 1020 Magnolia Dr. Augusta, Ga. at 3:00 pm Rev. Steve Patteson officiating. Additional survivors include, three sons, Richard Keener Lois) Honolulu, HI. Theodore(Mac) Keener, III (Jannelle) Winter Garden, Fl., John Keener, Augusta, Ga. Two daughters, Katherine Harris (Michael) Augusta, Ga., Elizabeth K. Person, Augusta, Ga. Eight grandchildren, Christian Frazier (Sarah), Bridget Keener, Brandi Smith (Bruce), Kelsey Arons (Mark), Regan Roberts, Jennifer Ann Person. Six Great-grandchildren, Caitlyn Smith, Hayden Smith, Gavin Smith, Briana Keener, Ellyott Frazier and Owen Frazier.
