William Hugh Dawson

William Hugh “Buckshot” Dawson, 70, of Augusta, entered into rest Friday, January 19, 2018. Born in Louisville, Buckshot was a self-employed car salesman for more than 30 years. He never shot anyone who didn’t deserve it. He will be missed by his daughter, Tracie (Tristan Nall) Dawson; life-long partner, Elizabeth Dawson; sisters, Dianne (Larry) Martin, Debbie (James) Jarriel, Phyllis Roberts and Karen King; in-laws, Frank (Wanda) Youngblood, Ricky (Penny) Youngblood, Pat Martin and Jackie Warner; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at Canaan Baptist Church on Saturday at 2:00pm with a reception to follow.
