Wesley W. Rawlins

Mr. Wesley Wall Rawlins, of Augusta, died on Wednesday, May 23, 2012.He was 55 years old. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 28, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at Stevens Creek Church, 600 Stevens Creek Road, Augusta. The memorial service will follow the visitation on Monday, May 28, 2012 at 12:00 noon at Stevens Creek Church. Mr. Rawlins is survived by his wife of more than twenty years, Cynthia “Renee” Rawlins; his son, Michael David New Jr. and his wife, Sarah; his daughter, Caroline Elizabeth Rawlins; his beloved Nanny Pat; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Frank and Mary Ann Story; his sisters, Susie Rawlins Tompkins, Nancy Lee Reagin and her husband, Ronald; his brother, Rusty Rawlins, his four-legged children, Molly, Elvis, and Travler; and a host of extended relatives.He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell Nathaniel Rawlins and Frances Hinson Rawlins; his brother, James Young Rawlins, and great nephew, Garrett Nathaniel Reagin. Mr. Rawlins was a member of Whole Life Ministries. He lived in Augusta all of his adult life. He was a member of the NRA and enjoyed all types of track racing sports.
