Wanda Ellis Neef

Biography Mrs. Wanda Ellis Neef Evans, Ga. Mrs. Wanda Ellis Neef entered into rest on November 4, 2012. She was born in Versalles, Missouri in 1924. She lived most of her adult life in California and was a resident of Evans, Ga., since 2007. Wanda was preceded in death by her beloved high school sweetheart Lt. Colonel Charles Franklin Neef, Jr. They were married in the West Point Chapel in 1949. Her older sister, Cloette Hurst, also preceded her in death. A celebration of her life will be conducted today at 5:30 pm at Wesley United Methodist Church on North Belair Road. Survivors include, Robert Franklin Neef, her son & Cindy Wilkerson Neef, daughter in law. Daughter, Nancy Neef Richards and son in law, John William Richards, Jr. Grandchildren, Danielle Marie Neef, Marc Franklin Neef, John Wm. Richards, III., Charles Franklin Richards, and Alama Marie Richards. Sisters, Roberta Phillips, Patricia Hazelrigg, and Margaret Morton.
