Viealetta Pope Bosdell

Viealetta Pope Bosdell, 85, entered into rest May 17, 2024, wife of the late Robert W Bosdell. Viealetta was a native of Evans, Georgia, born in Metter, GA on June 5, 1938. She was a member and former president of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Ladies Auxiliary. Her favorite hobby was playing Bingo. She was a wife, a mother, and lovingly known as “Ma” for her title of grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. She is survived by her son, Herbert Newsome (Linnea); her three daughters, Constance Bosdell; Sharon Young (Eddy); Sheila Eskew; ten grandchildren, Damion Bosdell (Amanda), Susan Scarborough, Kimberly C, Seth Newsome, Chesley Anderson, Jana Phillips (Ben), Mallie Roye, Taylor Young, Nolan Young (Courtney), Aaron Roye; grandson-in-law, Mike Anderson; thirteen great grandchildren, Hunter Anderson (Kayla), Devon Bosdell, Ethan Bosdell, Blake Anderson, Mason Walker, Kayleigh Bosdell, Brantley Anderson, Jaxson Walker, Braylon Anderson, Selina Tucker, Stiles Phillps, Nova Young, Sterling Young; and one great-great grandchild, Oakley Anderson. She is preceded in death by her Husband, Robert W Bosdell; her mother, Mallie Pope; her son, James Newsome; her daughter-in-law, Lydia Newsome; her two sons-in-law, Rex Roye and Will Eskew; her two grandchildren, Brian Skipper and Rusty Skipper; and her great grandchild Samuel Rhodes. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday May 21, 2024 at Bellevue Memorial Gardens Chapel with Pastor Brandon Lanier officiating. The family will receive friends at the chapel starting at 12:00pm until the time of service at 1pm. Burial will follow at Bellevue. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren Damion, Taylor, Nolan, Aaron, Devon, Ethan, Blake and Mason will serve as pallbearers.
