Victoria Diane Ogden

Victoria Diane Ogden passed to God’s hands on February 23, 2023 in Augusta, GA at the age of 74. Vickie was born May 9th, 1948, in Dodgeville, Wisconsin to Lawrence Anthony Capocasa and Dorothy Ann Elaine Zibolsky. Vickie attended primary and secondary schools in Madison, WI, until the family moved to Red Bluff California, where she graduated from high school. Vickie married Wesley T. Ogden in 1966. Vickie traveled with Wesley to Italy, where he was stationed as a Sgt. First Class in the Army. After Italy tour of duty, Wesley was stationed at Fort Gordon where Wes and Vickie moved to Evans, GA. In 1979, Vickie graduated from Augusta Area Technical School where she received her practical nursing diploma as an LPN. Vickie worked at the VA Hospital in Augusta, GA for many years. Vickie had a great sense of humor and loved to joke around with the staff and patients at the hospital. Vickie was loving, kind and generous. Vickie loved her family and friends. Vickie’s hobbies included gardening and cooking. Vickie had been retired for many years and loved animals and her 3 cats. Vickie was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley T. Ogden; her mother, Dorothy Ann Elaine Capocasa, and father, Lawrence Anthony Capocasa. Vickie is survived by her daughter Gina Marie Sanchez, brother Laurence Allen Capocasa, her sister Doriann Capocasa Shuler and brother Eric Mog. Please join us for a memorial service at Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort, SC on Monday August 21, 2023, at 2:00 PM, where Vickie will be reunited with her husband Wesley. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the American Heart Association and/or The American Cancer Society.
