Vernon L. Miller

Augusta, GA. Vernon L. Miller, age 76, of Augusta, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2016, at the VA Hospital. Mr. Miller was born December 18, 1939, in High Lands, N.C. to the late Monty and Ellen Rogers Miller.He served in the U. S. Army and was a master mechanic for EZ GO for many years. He is survived by his children; Audrey Jackson, Angela Miller, Mark Miller, Mike Miller and Monty Miller; grandchildren, Scott Lomeli, Nicholas Lomeli, Rachel Jackson, Chris Miers, Melissa Miers, Hannah Miller, Shelby Miller and Avery Miller; 2 sisters, Frances Wilson and Joyce Lipovac.He was preceded in death by brothers and sisters; Lucy, Doc, Bernice, Kenneth, Homer, Harvey, Clifton and Angela. Memorial Services will be Thursday 11 am at The Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Rd., Augusta, 30906, with gathering one hour prior to services.Military Honors will be rendered.
