Vera Elizabeth Hancock

Vera Elizabeth Bradford Hancock, 94, passed away December 10, 2020, one day short of her 95th birthday. She was born on December 11, 1925 in Augusta, Georgia, to the late Richard C. Bradford and Hazel Lee Mount Bradford. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, John Arthur Hancock, Sr., by her oldest son John Arthur Hancock, Jr., brother, JC Bradford, and by one great grandson, Hilton Bradford Hancock. Mrs. Hancock retired from John P. King Manufacturing Company “King Mill” in 1986 after 46 years of service. She is survived by her sons, Clifford Lee Hancock, Sr., and wife Debra of Hephzibah; Winston D. Hancock and his wife Betsy of Augusta; ten grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, one great, great, grandchild, and one sister, Dahlia L. Gibson;daughter in law Lisa Hancock.
