Hephzibah, GA - Mr. Troy Whitson Shiflett, 46, of Hephzibah, GA passed away on Monday, November 3, 2014. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel at The Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta, GA with Rev. Harold Jones officiating. A lifelong resident of the Augusta area, he was the son of Claudette Antwine and the late Terry Shiflett. Troy attended Hephzibah High School. He enjoyed spending time with his family and hunting. In addition to his mother, Troy is survived by his wife, Nancy Sanders Shiflett; daughters, Heather Amanda Shiflett, Holley Anne Shiflett; son, Terry James Shiflett, all of Augusta; sister, Sally Delaney, Aiken, SC; grandmothers, Dorothy Antwine, Dorothy Shiflett; nieces, Brittany Thigpen, Kayla Thigpen, and great Nephew, Spencer Thigpen. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 after the service. Central Savannah River Crematory, 706-798-8802 is entrusted with the service.
