Waynesboro, GA. Tony M. Mote, age 60, of Waynesboro, passed away Saturday, January 30, 2016. He was born March 19, 1955, in Augusta, to the late Ernest and Lillie Hoyle Mote, Jr.He served in the US Navy.He was preceded in death by his son, Jessie Mote and 4 brothers and 2 sisters. He is survived by his children: Brandy Wright of Augusta, Stephanie (George) Brown of Martinez, Lacy (David) Schuster of Johnston, SC., and Joshua Mote of Waynesboro, also a sister, Ann Johnson of Augusta, and a brother Dennis Mote of Alabama, 4 grandsons and a great granddaughter. Family will receive friends Thursday 5 pm to 7 pm at THE POTEET FUNERAL HOME, 3465 Peach Orchard Rd., HWY 25, Augusta, 30906.Funeral Services will be Friday 1 pm at the funeral home with burial to follow in Westover Memorial Park.
