Tommy B. Harlon

Tommy B. Harlon 84, beloved husband of Rosiland R. Harlon entered into rest on Saturday October 28, 2017 at University Hospital. A celebration of life will be held 2:00PM Saturday November 4, 2017 at Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Rd, Augusta. A husband, father, grandfather, craftsman, teacher and author. Mr. Harlon was an author of a Millwright Manual in the library of Congress. He worked as a Millwright for over 60 years and was employed at Plant Vogtle for over 20 years. Survivors include his wife; two sons Cedar Harlon and Mica Harlon; daughter Teresa Dendinger; step-daughter Teresa O’Connell; five grandchildren Daniel Wiley, Trinity Harlon, Julia Harlon, Caleb Harlon and Milo Harlon. He was preceded in death by his wife and mother of his children Alice Juanita Harlon. The family will receive friends from 1 PM until service time on Saturday.
