Mr. Thomas Morris Powell Retired R.C.B.O.E. Augusta, Georgia went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday August 10, 2014 at Doctors Hospital. Mr. Thomas Morris Powell 74, husband of Mrs. Phyllis Miller Powell. A memorial service will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 pm at Pineview Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Davenport and Rev. Michael Wren officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to service. Burial will be private. “Tom was a devout Christian”, a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is a native of Augusta, Ga. He graduated from Richmond Academy and was in the U.S. Army Reserves. And a member of Pineview Baptist Church and retired from R.C. B.O.E. As a carpenter. Additional survivors include two sons, Thomas M. Powell, Jr., (Debby) Canton, Ga., Tim Powell (Alana) Martinez, Ga. Daughter, Cathie Rich (Joe) Evans, Ga.
