Thomas William Paulk

Thomas William “Bill” Paulk died peacefully at University Hospital on Tuesday, July 6, 2010.He was 46 years old. Family and friends are invited to Bill’s home on Sunday, July 11, 2010 from 1:00 until 4:00 pm to celebrate his life.Burial will be at a later date in Brunswick, Georgia where he will be interred beside his parents. Bill was born on November 3, 1963 in Brunswick, Georgia.He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Edna Paulk. Bill is survived by his sister, Cindy Paulk-Day, and by his nieces, Valarie and Emily Day, all of Brunswick.He will also be missed by his longtime companion, Ms. Louise Miller, of Augusta. In his early years, Bill was a champion equestrian rider.He and his family were longtime members of the Diamond Vardee Saddle Club where he won many first place trophies.Later, he became an avid auto racing fan.He won many races in the South Georgia – Northern Florida region.He then became a dedicated NASCAR fan who was committed to following the sport at every opportunity.Mr. Paulk was a graduate of Brunswick High School.He attended the University of Georgia.
