Mr. Thomas P. O’Grady Sr. Retired Olin Chemical Company Mr. Thomas P. O’Grady Sr., of Augusta, died Thursday, April 19, 2012. He was 84 years old.The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 22, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at The Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta.The graveside service will be conducted on Monday April 23, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hillcrest Memorial Park. He is survived by six children; daughtersTeresa Howard (Thomas), Lynne Broome (Jeff); sons Thomas P. O’Grady Jr. (Katherine), George Michael O’Grady (Viola), David E. Carver; twenty-four grandchildren Chasity Jackson, Christopher S. Moulton, Tasha Moulton, Brittany Nunez, Joshua T. O’Grady, Benjamin Hixons, Michaela O’Grady, Michael P. O’Grady, Josh McGuire (Amanda), Alissa Howard, Jason Broome (Sara), Jonatha Broome; and eight great-grandchildren; and sister Nora O. Stephens.Mr. O’Grady is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara.
