Thomas J. Didgeon

Thomas J. Didgeon, brother, friend, passed away Friday May 3 , after a short, hard fought battle with cancer. Tom was born in Richland, Washington to Joseph and Pearl Didgeon in 1945 and lived most of his life in Aiken. He attended St. Mary's and graduated from Aiken High School in 1963, then served in the US Navy. He worked continuously until illness forced his retirement at age 78, mainly with Aiken Candy and Tobacco, K-Mart and for the last 30 years at Advance Auto Parts. He loved all things automotive including tinkering with his cars and drag racing He also loved the outdoors - fishing and watching his birds and squirrels (having raised and cared for many in his youth). He kept to himself later in life but also tried to help those in need. You left us too soon Tom. You will be missed. He is survived by his brothers Dan, Bob (Teri), Tony (Maureen); and sister Bonny Kania
