Terese C. Wood

Mrs. Terese C. Wood, an Augusta native, born March 19, 1959, passed away in her home, surrounded by her loved ones on November 28, 2023. She is survived by her husband, Dale Wood. Her brothers, John, Wayne, Johnny and her sister Janet. Her children Hope (Rick) & Thomas Sr. (Katherine). Her grandchildren Richard (Amanda), CJ, Lil T, Brandon, April, Christopher and Angel. She is also survived by her great grandchildren Boogie, Sammy and Freya. After her love for family and friends Terese loved playing POGO. She also enjoyed playing BINGO. Terese was always on the hunt for a great deal which led her to yard sales, thrift stores and eBay. In lieu of flowers please make a charitable contribution to the Center for New Beginnings in Waynesboro, GA. Services will be Thursday December 7, 2023 from 6 – 8 pm at McNeill Funeral Home & Central Savannah River Crematory in Augusta, GA.
