Mrs. Teresa Louise Sumner Home Day Care Martinez, Ga., entered into rest June 15, 2014 at Doctors Hospital. Mrs. Teresa Louise Sumner wife of Joseph Sumner. Mrs. Sumner a lifelong resident of Augusta, Ga. She operated her home day care. And a member Martinez Baptist Church. She was a member of Augusta Canoe &Kyack Club. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 12:00 noon at Martinez Baptist Church with Rev. Phillip Winsett with interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Additional survivors include her parents, Mr. Robert T. Washington and Mrs. Betty C. Washington, son, Frank C. Burpee, IIII. daughter, Cybill M. Clark (Wesley), brother, Robert T. Washington, Jr. (Susie). Six grandchildren, Ellie, Brittany, Matt, Grant, James and Toni. The family will receive friends at Martinez Baptist Church from 10:00 am until time of service.
