Susan Broach

Susan “Lynn” Hinshaw Broach, 73, of Thomson, Georgia, entered into rest on Wednesday October 11, 2023 in her home surrounded by family. Lynn was born in Winston-Salem NC on June 6, 1950 to the late Jame T Hinshaw and Ruth T Swain. Lynn moved to Thomson, GA in 1991 and has since called Thomson her home. She was a wonderful mother/ nana who was always there when we needed her. She also had many friends and was a well-loved member of the community. Lynn worked at the McDuffie Progress before moving to McDuffie Feed and Seed for the last 15 years. She was known to be a very hard worker and kind to everyone she met. Lynn enjoyed riding her lawn mower, cooking for her family and Dale Earnhart. She was survived by her daughter Tammy Foraker of Thomson, her sisters Zeta Price and Patricia Snow of Winston- Salem, NC granddaughters Ashley (Steven) Byrd, Casey (Sam) Gilmer, and Shelby (William) Wagner, Great-Grandchildren Abigail, Cassidy, Ryan, Toni-Kay, LeAnn, William Jr, Jax and Zachary. Memorial will be held Saturday November 4th 2023 between 4 and 6pm at the Old Frontier. Services will be casual attire, song and prayer at 5pm.
