Mrs. Sue Beasley Wells died on Saturday, October 25, 2008, at Keysville Health Care Center following several years of declining health.She was 72 years old. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 28, 2008 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at The Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta.The graveside service will be conducted on Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery near Avery, Georgia.Family and friends will meet at the graveside on Tuesday; there will be no procession from the funeral home. Survivors include her sisters and brothers, Frances Newman of Augusta, John Beasley of Leavenworth, Kansas, Florence Pressley of Greenville, South Carolina, Jean Cashwell of Beech Island, Thelma Adcock of Athens, Georgia, Amy Gormley of Augusta, Elton Beasley, and Felton Beasley, both of Stapleton, Georgia.She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Beasley and Amy Powell Harden; her sisters, Pauline Miller and Dorothy Watkins; her brother, Paul Beasley; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
