Mr. Steve Norris, 60, entered into rest April 16, 2017 at Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center in Augusta, Ga. Steve a native of Birmingham, Alabama has lived in Hephzibah, Georgia for the past One year and a half coming from Virginia where he worked as an Information TechnologySpecialist for theFederal Government/Walter Reed Army Medical Center. He was aretired MSGinthe US Army. Survivors include his daughter, Khalilah Garrett; brothers, Carey Norris (Mamie); Stanley Norris (Stephanie) Norris; Larry, Jerry, Robert and Reginald Norris; sisters, Linda Nix (Gaston); Shirley Johnson (Larry); Phyllis Cunningham; Peggy Wilson; Erica Walls (Gary); grandchildren, Devon, Khalise and DeShaunGarrett. Former wife, Cindy Norris. A host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles andgreat friendsHe is preceded in death by his parents, Carey & Susie Norris; sister, Mary Sue McNeal and a nephew; Mario Johnson. A military honors service will be conducted Thursday, April 20, 2017 at 1:00 pm at McNeill Funeral Home.
