Stephen A. Rubendall

Mr. Stephen A. Rubendall Sr. United States Army Mr. Stephen A. Rubendall Sr., of Hephzibah, died on Monday, October 4, 2010.He was 57 years old. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 9, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at their home. To honor Stephen’s request, a private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Mr. Rubendall is survived by his wife, Ellen M. Rubendall; his mother, Rosemary Rubendall of Hephzibah; his children, Dr. Stephen A. Rubendall Jr., and his wife, Courtney , of Pelham, Georgia, Adam P. Rubendall of Augusta, and Angel M. Shaw and her husband, Travis, of Hephzibah; his brothers, Bill Rubendall and his wife, Val, of Concord, California, John Rubendall and his wife, Monika ,of Puyallup, Washington, and Rick Rubendall and his wife, Gail, of Wethersfield, Connecticut; his grandchildren, Stephen A. “Phen” Rubendall III, Isabelle Rubendall, Hayze Rubendall, Khyler Rubendall, and Caeden Ione Shaw.He was preceded in death by his father, John Rubendall. Mr. Rubendall served in the United States Army for twenty-one years. Following his military service, he was an instructor at Ft. Gordon.He was a Braves fan, and an avid golfer. Stephen will be remembered by his family as a loving and supportive son, husband, father, and grandfather. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to his fellow employees and others who gave of their personal leave and vacation time during Stephen’s illness.
