Mrs. Sonja H. Dalzell Wife of Mr. Donald Dalzell Mrs. Sonja H. Dalzell, of Hephzibah, died on Saturday, June 25, 2011.She was 76 years old. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at The Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta.The funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, June 30, 2011 at 10:00 a.m.in the funeral home chapel.Committal services will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens, Langley, South Carolina. Mrs. Dalzell is survived by her husband of 59 years, Donald Dalzell; her son, Mark K. Dalzell and his wife, Penny, of Augusta; her brother, Joseph Hartman, of Texas; her grandchildren, Krystal Dalzell and William Dalzell, and great granddaughter, Jaycee Dalzell. Mrs. Dalzell retired from the Richmond County School System.Following her retirement, she enjoyed going on cruises and taking trips in an R.V.
