Sidney "Sid" K. Slown, Sr.

Sidney (Sid) K. Slown, 61, of Martinez, Ga entered into rest surrounded by his family and loved ones on September 17, 2020. Mr. Slown’s greatest joy was his son, grandchildren, family and those he loved as family. He was an avid mountain biker and worked in the construction industry for 33 yrs. Mr. Slown is predeceased by his father, Neil M. Slown and his paternal grandparents, Sid and Lorraine Slown (Pontiac, IL). He is survived by his Mother, Akiko Hagen, his son, Sidney K. Slown Jr., (Breena), fiancée, Sandra Jackson Gunter, 5 Grandchildren; Paxton, Chase, JP, Finnleigh and Luke. Bonus son Bradd Sasser (Megan), Two brothers, Larry R. Powell Jr. (Cindy), R. Steven Powell (Debbie), two sisters, Nita Slown (Bruce), Allison Slown, an Uncle, Phillip (Butch) Slown, many nieces and nephews, cousins and best friends, Jimmy Culpepper (Cheryl) and Jim Blacklege (Tina). A memorial service for family and friends will be held at a later date.
