Sharon (Kay) Wigginton Raines

Sharon Kay ( Wigginton) Raines, passed away on August 27, 2024, at the age of 66 in Grovetown,Georgia. Born on March 11, 1958, in Mineral Wells, Texas, Sharon was cherished and known for her love for Jesus,her kindness, loyalty, and selflessness. Sharon was a devoted homemaker. Her home was filled with love not only for her family but also for her pets, as she adored taking care of her cats and dogs. Sharon also loved to travel with her sister and Mother on cruises, to Las Vegas and the Smokey Mountains. Sharon is survived by her loving husband, Barney Raines Sr., and their children: Barney Jr. Michael, Aaron, Nicholas, Matthew, and Angel Raines. She also leaves behind her mother, Joyce Wigginton; her brothers, Dale (Debbie) Wigginton and Davie (Donna) Wigginton; and her sister, Brenda Wigginton Jones (Bruce), along with her grandchildren Caleb,Logan,Gabriel, Emma,and Grace Raines several nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her father, Archie L. Wigginton, her brother, Dickie L. Wigginton, nephew Benjamin Jones , nice Stephanie Wigginton Thaxton. Sharon's life and memory will be cherished by all who knew her, as she leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication to her family .
