Augusta, GA. Sarah A. Morris, age 91, of Augusta, passed away Monday, April 20, 2015, at University Hospital with her family surrounding her. She was born January 9, 1924, in Augusta, GA., to the late Hezzie W. and Ruby Inglett Arrington.She worked at Gracewood State School and Hospital as a nurse aide for many years.She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gordon M. Morris; a daughter, Vicki Hoffa; 1 son, Bubba Morris; 1 grandson, Robbie Linton. Survivors include her daughters, Mary M. Williams of Augusta, Loillette M. Brown of Lincolnton and Rhonda McNeely of Augusta; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; 1 sister, Marianne Mehr of Oklahoma. Family will receive friends Thursday 5pm to 8 pm at THE POTEET FUNERAL HOME, 3465 Peach Orchard Rd., Augusta, 30906, 706.798.8886. Funeral Services will be Friday 12 Noon at the funeral home.Burial to follow in Sunset Hill Cemetery, North Augusta.
