Sarah Helen Jackson

Sarah Helen Eitel Jackson, age 92 passed away on March 9, 2023.  She passed at home, peacefully, surrounded by her family.  Sarah was born to Arthur and Helen Eitel in Forest City, North Carolina on August 13, 1930.  She was married to the late William Glen Jackson, also from Forest City.  She is survived by her children, Linda Gail, William Glen, David Boyd (Trish), Mary Louise and Alan Scott.  She was blessed with five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.   She was preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela Kay.

She was a 1948 graduate of Cool Springs High School in Forest City, NC and a fifty-year member of Bel-Ridge Baptist Church in Belvedere, South Carolina.

She made raising her children and managing her household a priority in life, and living her Christian faith and convictions came equally.  After her children left the nest and her husband passed away in 2002, she seemed to blossom and embrace her church and the friends she made there.  She was a part of a group that walked regularly at the North Augusta Riverside Activities Center and on the North Augusta Greeneway well into her late seventies.

She was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother.......a very unique and special person.  She was my mom.  Bill Jackson
