Mrs. Kitchens was preceded in death by her husband, "Dutch".She is survived by 1 daughter, Scarlett (Pastor Edward) Carothers and 1 son, Todd (Lisa) Kitchens;2 sisters, Norma (Greg) Drew and Donna (Max) Meek; 4 grandchildren, Amanda Bailey, Logan Carothers, Ashli Kitchens and Kyle Kitchens and 2 great grandchildren; 1 sister-in-law, Sandra Arrington.Pallbearers will be Kyle Kitchens, Greg Drew, Heyward Johnson, Jim Highley, Rick Hendrix, Dr. Paul Fischer and Tommy Sheridan. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta, GA30906, with funeral services to be conducted on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel. Pastor Edward Carothers will officiate. The burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
