Biography Augusta GA- Sammy Odom (Slammy) entered into eternal rest on Tuesday March 19, 2013. Memorial services will be at Bible Deliverance Church 1857 Fenwick St. Augusta 30904 at 3 p.m. on Sunday March 24, 2013. Sammy retired from Englewood Electric as Warehouse supervisor and was a United States Army Veteran. He was preceded by his parents Gainer and Virginia Odom and his sister Anne Peoples. Survivors are his devoted wife Tina Odom, his daughter Vicki Albert, his son Dennis Odom, step-son Joshua Newman, three step-daughters Krystina Cobb (California) Brittany and Tiffany Pittman, and a host of 9 ½ grandchildren.
