Ruth "Renee" Hicks

Ruth "Renee" Hicks, 65, of Appling, Ga, entered into rest July 28, 2021with her husband by her side. Renee was born December 5, 1955 in Augusta, Georgia. She was an administrative assistant at Mistletoe State Park from 1984-1994. Renee was a resident of Winfield Hills for 41 year. She loved camping, traveling, and was an avid animal lover. Renee is survived by her husband, Dennis Hicks, of 47 years, her daughter Renita "Bay" Johnson, and her two granddaughters, Savannah Bay Johnson and Ryleigh Renee Johnson. Funeral services will be held on Sunday August 1, 2021 at 3:00 pm at The Assembly at Augusta 4207 Wheeler Road, Augusta, GA 30907, with Pastor Brandon C. Lanier officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until time of Service.
