Russell "Rusty Johnikin

Russell B. “Rusty” Johnikin, age 44, passed away Sunday, March 31, 2013, at his residence surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Louise Johnikin. Rusty is survived by his parents, John and Charlotte (Brigham) Johnikin; one brother, Terry (Donna) Johnikin of Augusta, GA.; 1 niece, Brittany (Nathan) Rice of Detroit Lakes, MN and 1 nephew, Brandon Johnikin of Augusta, GA. Family will receive friends Thursday 6 pm to 8 pm at The Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Rd., HWY 25, Augusta, GA., 30906, 706.798.8886. Services will be Friday 1 pm at the funeral home with Pastor John Kilpatrick, officiating.Burial to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Beatty, David Peace, Mark Peace, Gary Reynolds, Don Eastmead and Wayne Collins.
