Roy Robert Robinson, Jr.

Roy Robert Robinson, Jr., passed away at home on Saturday, December 23, 2017, at the age of 91. He is survived by his wife of 71 years Nina Robinson, children Rob Robinson (Marcia) of Macon, Harriette Flanagin (Greenlee) of Augusta, Leslie Landiss (Shipley) of Nashville, Tennessee, Six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, and sister Nancy Holmes (Buchanan, Michigan). Preceded in death by his granddaughter, Hilary Robinson. Served aboard ship (Atlantic) in the US Navy, 1943-1946, and retired from Navy Reserves in 1981. Retired from Motorola as a microwave communications technician in 1985. He was a member of Central Church of Christ, having served as a teacher and an elder. A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00AM Saturday, January 20, 2018, at Central Church of Christ, 3650 River Watch Parkway, withvisitation starting at 10:00 AM.
