Roy Hunter, Sr

Biography The memorial service of Roy Hunter,Sr., who died June 15, 2012 from a lengthly illness, will be conducted Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 2:00 pm at First Assembly of God Church in Dawson, Ga. With Pastor Bobby Paul of Albany Family Worship Center officiating. A Private ceremony at Cedar Hill Cemetary will be held at a later date. A native of Winston County, Alabama, born June 7, 1940 Mr. Hunter resided in Terrell County for most of his life where he worked as a Branch Manager and Loan Officer for Thrift Finance Co. He recently retired from McKleskey Mills in Smithville, Ga. He was married to Margie Roberts for 25 years. Preceded in death by his father, Milner Thomas, his mother Ellen Hunter. Five brothers, John Milner (Dick), Haskel, FB, Arthur and Russell Hunter. Survivors include two sons, Roy Hunter, Jr, wife Rebecca of Leesburg, Ga., Milner Thomas Hunter of Selma, Al., Two daughters, Katrina Hunter of Leeesburg, Ga. and Margie Leigh Hunter, League City, Texas.
