Augusta, GA. Rosie C. Castro, age 58, of Hephzibah, passed away Monday, June 30, 2014 at her residence with her family surrounding her. She was preceded in death by her mother, Maria Mendiola Cruz and her brother Joseph Cruz. She is survived by her husband, William Q. Castro,Sr.; her children, Jessica R. Crespo, Zachary C. Palacios, Kenneth C. Palacios, Paul C. Palacios and William Q. Castro, Jr.; 13 grandchildren; her father, Mariano Cruz;2 sisters, Diane Campos and Marilyn Ardiente; 3 brothers, Anthony Cruz, Robert Cruz and Raymond Cruz. Family will receive friends THURSDAY 6 pm to 8 pm at THE POTEET FUNERAL HOME, 3465 Peach Orchard Rd., HWY 25, Augusta, 30906, 706.798.8886. Mass of Christian Burial will be SATURDAY 10 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 2607 Lumpkin Rd., Augusta, with burial to follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
