Rosemary Scott

Rosemary Hatcher Scott Professor Grovetown, GA, entered into rest November 30th, 2014, at her residence. Mrs. Rosemary Hatcher Scott, wife of Eugene C. Scott. Mrs. Scott, a long time resident of Selma, Alabama and had recently moved to Grovetown. She held a Doctorates degree in education and worked as a professor at Augusta State University. She is survived by her sons, Chris Jackson (Layita), and Benjamin Scott; daughter, Bethany Scott; brother-in-law, Melvin B. Evans, Sr.; and sister-in-law, Wanda Jackson Jones. Memorial services will be held Friday at 3:00 p.m. at the Bicentennial Chapel, building 28414 off Brainard Avenue, Fort Gordon, with chaplain William Nicholas officiating. A second memorial service will be held Saturday December 6, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church, Selma, Alabama.
