Mrs. Rosa Digby Augusta, Georgia Mrs. Rosa Digby of Augusta died Sunday, February 7, 2010. She was 63 years old. The family will receive friends Thursday, February 11, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at The Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, 706.798.8886. The funeral service will be conducted Friday, February 12, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at HIS Community Church, 3358 Peach Orchard Road. Rev. Ken Young will officiate. The committal service will follow at the family plot at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Mrs. Rosa Digby is survived by her loving husband John Digby; son John William Digby and his wife, Amy, of Evans, GA; daughter Kelly Lewis of Texhoma, OK; sisters Mildred DeBerry of Winters, TX, Sandra Hughes of Cisco, TX; grandchildren Zachary and Alexander.Mrs. Rosa Digby is preceded in death by her son Michael Digby and brother Mackey Tabor. Mrs. Digby above all, loved the Lord. She was active in Sunday school and Bible study at HIS Community Church where she was a member. She was loved and respected by those who knew her, and will be remembered as the matriarch of her family. The family wishes for memorial donations to be made to HIS Community Church, 3358 Peach Orchard Road, Augusta, Georgia 30906 in honor of Mrs. Rosa Digby.
