Ronald Lee Maxwell

Ronald Lee Maxwell, 68, of Hephzibah entered into rest on Sunday January 21, 2018. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday January 25, 2018 in the Chapel of Poteet Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Peoples officiating. Ron was retired from the United States Navy, was known as a jokester and was always there for everyone, he loved football and cooking. He was a journeyman electrician, a mechanic, and had the attitude that there wasn’t anything he wouldn’t try to do and there was always a way to do everything. He always put God and his family first, he had a heart of gold, was always full of faith. His mottos were “Give it to God”, “Pray about it”, and “God has my back” He is survived by his beloved wife, best friend, and soul mate Damiana Maxwell; daughters, Monica (Carl) Lawson of Hephzibah, and Sandra (Charles) Davis of Augusta; son, Roberto (Cheryl) Maxwell of Manhattan, KS; sister, Sandra (Ken) McMillen of Bell, Florida. Grandchildren, Malcolm Solomon, Jazzmyn Solomon, Karter Maxwell, and Jaxxon Maxwell. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 25, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services.
