Mr. Ronald “ Ron” Adam Boudreaux, of Hephzibah, died on Monday, January 17, 2011, at Eisenhower Army Medical Center. Honorary pallbearers are Darryl Zerbel, Joshua Lassiter, Greg Woods, Larry Woods, Thomas Greene, and Douglas Faulkner. Mr. Boudreaux is survived by his wife of more than 52 years,Rose Boudreaux; his son, Thomas Boudreaux (Diane Morris) of Hephzibah; his daughter, Susan Boudreaux ( Jimmy Mize) of Hephzibah; his son, Robert “Bobby” Boudreaux (Gwen Battle) of Blythe; his grandchildren, Tommy Boudreaux (Amy)and Chris Boudreaux of Hephzibah; sister, Laura Ordoryne ( Eldon), and brother Ranzy Boudreaux (Ann); brother- in- law, Gunter Litzbarski ( Barbara); numerous nieces and nephews.Mr. Boudreaux was preceded in death by his sons, Rainer Boudreaux in 1985 and Peter Boudreaux in 1975; his parents, Henryand Marie Petre Boudreaux; his brother, Henry Boudreaux. Mr. Boudreaux served in the United States Army.He retired as Sergeant First Class in the Signal Corp in October 1976 after 21 years of service. He served during the Vietnam era.After his Army retirement, he worked in maintenance.He was a lifetime member of VFW Post No. 649 and American Legion Post No. 178.
