Ronald Dean Banning

Mr. Ronald D. Banning Evans, Ga. Mr. Ronald Banning,husband of Heather M. Banning,entered peacefully into rest Sunday, October 4, 2015, at his residence. Mr. Banning wasa native of Cotulla, Texas, but residedin Evans since 1993, where he worked forStandard Aero as an Aviation Mechanic. Ron served in the U.S. Navy as an OT and STG and retired from U.S. Navy Reserves. He was a proud Retired Navy Veteran who loved his country and all of his military Brothers and Sisters. Ron was a member of the U.S. Navy Marksmanship Team, Palmetto State Marksman Association, Pinetucky Gun Club, Aircraft Owner Pilots Association and other favorite groups. He was not afraid to live a full lifepursuing his interests, while loving his family and friends with a big heart and a great sense of humor. He loved to fly, motorcycle, travel, shoot in competitions, religion and so much more. Ron will be sorely missed by many relatives and friends. A memorial service with military honors will be held Wednesday at 6:00 pm at McNeill Funeral Home with Chaplain Jason Davis officiating.Additional survivors includehis sons, Jason and Joseph Banning;father, Raymond Banning;mother, Judy Russ; sisters,Lisa Everitt and Cathy Petersen.
