Robert Thurman Smith, Sr.

Robert Thurman Smith , Sr., loving husband of the late Patricia J. Smith,went to be with his Lord on August 28, 2023 He was the loving father of Johnnie "Rick"(Karen) Smith, Lisa (Russell) Courtney and Robbie (Jasi) Smith. He was the devoted grandfather of Jason Courtney, Ashley McCall, Johnnie Smith, Steven Fryer,Christopher Smith, Daniel Smith , Krista Camera, Kodie Smith, Jordan Smith and Grayson Smith and their loving spouses. He was blessed with 12 great-grandchildren that he adored. He was a well respected long-time employee of Aiken Regional Medical Center in the Respiratory Therapy Department .. His hobbies were fishing and golf. He was preceded in death by his parents Furman and Creola Smith , and a brother Cleve (Buddy) Smith . He was loved and will be greatly missed.
