Robert Max Shaffer

Mr. Robert M. Shaffer Augusta, Georgia, Mr. Robert M. Shaffer, entered into rest on March 4, 2016. SFC Shaffer, through a resident of Augusta since 1986, was born in Winchester, IN on October 13, 1939 Ruby and Dallas Shaffer. He graduated from Stillwell High School, Stillwell, IN. In 1987, SFC Shaffer, Retired from Ft. Gordon, Ga., after an honorable career in the US Army. He is survived by his wife, Yvonne of 55 years, their three children, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Robin.
