Robert Allen Salter

Robert Allen Salter, 62,  passed away on January 29, 2023 in Augusta, Georgia. He was born on September 5, 1960 at Fort Gordon, Georgia to Bill and Edna Salter.

Robert was a beloved husband, amazing father, and loving Pawpaw.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Edna Salter, sister Barbara, brothers Billy and Stephen.

He is survived by his wife of over 30 years, Rosie. Children Justin, Jim (Candice), Aaron (Jennifer). Siobhan (Kevin), Stephen (Ariel), Morgan (Jerry), Kaila (Patrick), Owen (Bailey), and  Gage. He had 19 grandchildren, brother Stanley (Linda), sisters Joyce and Karen (Shotty). Stepfather Vinson Griffin and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on February 4, 2023 at McBean Baptist Church at 4:00 pm with Pastor Wayne Todd officiating.

The family will receive friends from 3:00-4:00 pm at the church.
