Robert John Northrup

Robert John Northrup, 75, passed over on March 7, 2024 at Charlie Norwood VA Hospice in Augusta, GA. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jeanne, a son, Dylan Northrup, a daughter, Kami Loyd and 5 grandchildren. He is also survived by 3 sisters, Dee Long, Pam Witte and Jennifer Misener. Bob was a sonarman in US Navy during Vietnam Era. He then worked as maintenance mechanic at several local factories. Later he went on to be a Union Electrician. Bob loved riding his Harley Davidson and was one of the founding members of the local Interstate Chapter. Bob moved to South Carolina in 2007 to be near his grandchildren and they loved having him be a part of their lives. A Celebration of Life Campfire Wake is being planned for March 30 at Cracker Hammock Cabin off Rt 66 at 4:00PM.
