He was born December 30, 1960 in Augusta, to the late Robert F. and Dorothy Smith Mitchell.He was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Patrick Mitchell. Survivors include one sister, June Mejias of Augusta; 2 brothers, Robert F. Mitchell of Grovetown and Robert L. Mitchell of Texas; 2 nephews, Travis Mejias and Taylor Mejias both of Augusta; 1 niece, Teresa Mejias of Augusta.Also survived by other family members. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Poteet Funeral Home, 3465 Peach Orchard Rd., Augusta, entrusted with arrangements.
