Robert A. Jones Jr.

Robert, affectionately known as ”Lil Robert”, transitioned from his earthly home on August 31st 2023 at Doctor’s hospital in Augusta, Georgia. Robert was born to the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert (Lillie Pearl) Jones Sr. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by siblings Robert Lewis Curry, Sandra Bentley, Barry Jones, and Mary Ann Jones. He was a graduate of the Lincoln County High School. After graduating he went on to proudly serve in the US Marine Corps until his honorable discharge in 1987. Robert is survived by his children Arnisha (Averill)Bryant, Brian Jones, and DeMarcus Jones; Siblings Patricia Norman, Tommy Lee (Mable) Harris, Charles Curry, and Joann (Lonnie) Brown; A grandson, Avin Bryant; 2 special great nephews Bryson and Jaden Mickens as well as a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
